1989 BMW 325




My 1989 BMW 325 has been one of my favourite cars with its rear wheel drive and 2.5 litre engine. I have had hours of fun in this car (getting the rear end sideways round the corners). Just wish i could have kept it but too many projects and having a company van meant i had to get shut and i did'nt like seeing it sat on the drive just rusting away and not being used. The car had lowered suspension so it handled awesomly well with nice alpina replica alloy wheels. I fitted the angel eye sidelght rings to the headlamps i had to cut the glass off the dip beam projector lamps and modify the inners to fit them in then drilled a hole in the back of the main beam lamps and threaded the rings through it was all a bit of messing around but was well worth it and they looked awesome. While it sat on the drive that old mite rust took a nibble at it and ate away at the door bottoms, sills, across the rear lower panel and a couple of scabs here and there so I had to repaint all the door bottoms i also did the front end and got rid of the stone chips. I had the wheels blasted and painted them in a nice silver colour then added some nice chrome valve covers and caps. I changed all the badges from the blue and white ones to chrome and black versions( only because they where the only ones that fit the wheel centres so i had to replace all badges to match). I stripped, cleaned and rebuilt all the brakes. I replaced all the front suspension arms with new joints and bushes. I think most will agree the 1989 bmw 325 are an awesome car to drive and look stunning (well i think mine did anyway).
