Chisels

There is really only one type of chisel needed to help with your car restoration and that is a flat type I find that this type is the best especially for splitting spot welded seams but an ordinary cold chisel will be sufficient. Always ensure that chisel is nice and sharp and keep it flat against the metals that you are splitting. You may want an air chisel or air hammer for cutting of old panels and areas of panels for repair a number of attachments are available for different jobs. Remember health and safety and wear gloves and goggles.
